A ripe, fruity wine from Chapel Down produced with Bacchus grapes! The grapes were harvested from Kit's Coty vineyard, which were whole bunch pressed and went through a wild fermentation in used French oak barrels. The wine rested in the barrels for nine months, so the oak influence here is subtle. Light, creamy dishes such as risotto accompany this very well.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Ripe tropical fruit, with honeydew and cantaloupe melon, followed by nectarine supported by touches of oak.
