Whereas most English Sparkling Wines are made in the image of Champagne, this is something quite different. It's made from a blend of 75% bacchus and 25% chardonnay, and gets its bubbles from carbonation rather than bottle fermentation. This means that it majors on simple fresh fruit notes. Good uncomplicated fun, don't be afraid to mix this with raspberry liqueur or sloe gin to make a very English kir royale.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Fresh apples, lemons and subtle grassy notes all wrapped up with a subtle fizz.
