
In the hilltop village of Saint-Romain le Haut sits the fabulous Alain Gras winery. It's from this French winery that this 2017 vintage Saint-Roman hails, produced entirely from Chardonnay grapes. Its prominent minerality makes it a wonderful pairing with richer foods, such as salmon or pork.
Refreshing and grassy, with dried currants, stone fruit, a touch of oily nuttiness and a salty mineral backbone.
