963 Malt & Grain is, shock, a blend of malt and grain whiskies! It's produced by Sasanokawa Shuzo, which is also responsible for Yamazakura whiskies. This particular expression has been bottled at 58% ABV, though still makes for a very mellow and fairly creamy dram.

Nose
Barley sugar and vanilla icing, with floral honey and key lime pie.
Palate
More sugary notes, with sugared almond, candied orange and vanilla fudge.
Finish
Gentle oak spice appears on the finish alongside vanilla pod.
