A marvellous six year old bourbon from the Wilderness Trail range. It's always a bit of a treat to see bourbon with an age statement, and this one is particularly tasty stuff, with a good helping of rich oak notes sat at the core.
Mature cedar and old oak furniture, with caramelised nuts and red fruit developing a little later on.
Vanilla tablet, chocolate shavings, forest floor, tobacco, brown sugar, peppercorn.
Cask char, cooking spices and another little hint of chocolate.
