A classic blend made up of 41 different whiskies. Whyte and Mackay special is a great mixer.

Very decent whisky for the price. Smooth and sweet, with no oily overtones. Not as good as Chivas Regal but as good as any Johnny Walker, Dewars, JB etc. I am no expert but I can enjoy a glass of this with spring water anytime.
When you have learned to appreciate fine whisky you will quickly realize that as far as blends go in this price level, if you think Johnnie Black is the benchmark then this exquisite blend just blew them right out of the water! This said I am a sherry cask lover...
An acquired taste? - The trouble is I just cannot acquire it. It's a rough as they get from Scotland.
Not good. Needs a lot of water to be even tolerable. Sickeningly sweet.
have been drinking blends for years and this is one of my favourites (I can only afford Balvinnie once a year). It sounds as though the last reviewer has been given a bottle of Delhi special brew made from sugar in the forgery factories of India.
