Westward Whiskey has a tradition of supplying casks to brewers in the region and for this expression, classic Westward Whiskey single malt is treated to a year-long finish in stout seasoned casks returned to the distillery by those crafty contacts.

Hearty malt and creamy coffee, toasted almonds, and soft apricot.
Palate
A touch of praline, maple, and pecan with biscuity malt and a sprinkle of cacao.
Finish
Drying oak and prickles of peppery warmth join towards the end, with dense, malty cocoa drifting in the distance.
