The folks at Weetwood Brewery & Distillery have combined their two passions, beer and whisky in this edition of The Cheshire English single malt! They filled up six quarter casks with the brewery's most characterful beer, Jester IPA, allowing time for all its hoppy character to work its way into the oak before emptying and refilling them with the distillery's English single malt whisky.
Zesty notes of grapefruit and lemon peel join juicy tropical fruits, with garden herbs nestling beneath.
Crisp green apple joins more tropical fruit, with biscuity malt, oaken vanilla, and subtle herbaceous hoppy notes in the distance.
