Description

Well-sherried Irish single malt whiskey here from The Irishman range, matured for 17 years before being bottled up at 54% ABV. Sublime stuff, packed full of dried fruit and festive spice notes.

Nose

Sultanas and prunes, with a drizzle of sherry. Solid core of malty notes, and a touch of toasted almond.

Palate

Grilled pear and plum, more sultanas, a little apricot jam, before a big helping of cinnamon and ginger appears.

Finish

Red wine richness with some dry oak.
