We do love some good Irish whiskey, and the annual release of The Irishman 12 Year Old single malt is always a dependable expression! This is the 2022 edition, which has been triple distilled at a Northern Irish distillery, Irish whiskey fans might like to take a guess as to which one, and aged first-fill bourbon barrels. The result is a full-flavoured single malt, packed with character. A release of 6,000 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Honeycomb and toffee ice cream, with a sprinkling of diced almonds. A hint of toasted brioche, too.

Palate Roasted nuts, spiced walnut loaf, a little bit of milky coffee, diced apricots and juicy peaches.

Finish Lasting sweetness of caramel, with a crackle of cassia in the background.
