Virginia Distillery Co. Cider Cask Finish
American single malt whisky from the Virginia Distillery Co., made from 100% North American barley, fermented for 72 hours with a two-strain proprietary yeast mixture (one for yield, one for flavour). This edition spent its early years maturing in bourbon barrels, followed by a stay in a selection of French Calvados casks, Virginia cider barrels, and Laird's Apple Brandy barrels. You can expect plenty of vibrant orchard fruit and sweet spice here.

Nose
Baked apple, honeysuckle, and vanilla fudge, with poached pear and a dusting of cinnamon.
Palate
Apple crumble, buttery pastry, and runny honey, joined by sweet oak, nutmeg, and lively orchard fruit.
Finish
Lingering apple compote, cinnamon sugar, and gently warming oak spice.
