This edition of Two Stacks' Smoke & Mirrors single malt, a peated expression drawn from bourbon casks and imperial stout casks, has enjoyed an additional finishing period in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. This has introduced a generous helping of bold dried fruit notes to the already rather chocolatey expression, all brought together by the smoky core of peat. Plus, it's been bottled up at the bolstered ABV of 56%, too.
Clove-studded orange, fragrant smoke, dark chocolate, and mince pie filling.
Cinnamon stick, fresh ginger, cacao, molasses, with lighter hints of clementine developing later on.
A long finish with plenty of smoke and chocolate.
