Tullibardine 29 Year Old 1989 - Old & Rare Platinum (Hunter Laing)

From Hunter Laing's Old & Rare Platinum range comes a 29 year old Tullibardine single malt, distilled back in 1989. The whisky was aged in a single refill hogshead until October 2018, when it was bottled at cask strength with a tiny outturn of only 177 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Vanilla, oak and strawberries, all wrapped up in layers of honey.

Palate

Salted caramel brownies, apricot and ripe peach, a touch of old rum richness.

Finish

Slightly oily on the finish, with a hint of citrus cutting through.
