This hearty Highlander hails from Tullibardine, distilled in 2012, the single malt matured for a decade in a single cask. The cask was opened by Douglas Laing in 2023, independently releasing a total of 344 bottles for its Provenance collection.
Honeyed biscuits and creamy vanilla latte are joined by candied orange peels and sweet spice.
Candied citrus, buttery pastry, and runny honey rest upon spicy notes of toasted oak, anise, and clove.
Those woody spices linger, with clove and cinnamon bark, soft fudge, and a hint of soft smoke in the distance.

This bottle of whiskey was bought as a Christmas present by my daughter as she knew I have enjoyed your whiskey for some years, I am a little confused as the tasting note on the package differ from ‘The chaps at Masters of malt’ and I am finding hard to get of the flavors/ aromas from either description - it’s still very good though ??
