Yet another marvellous addition to Signatory's Cask Strength Collection - this time, they've bottled a 29 year old Tormore single malt! The whisky matured in a pair of hogshead casks from December 1988 to March 2018, before being bottled with an outturn of only 296 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Crème brûlée, raspberry compote, filo pastry and nutty malt.
Palate
Honeydew melon, dried wood, fried banana and fruity coffee.
Finish
Lingering citrus sweetness balanced by spicy oak.
