Tormore 27 Year Old 1988 (cask 12240) - The First Editions (Hunter Laing)
27 year old Tormore single malt Scotch whisky, aged in a single refill butt cask from 1988 to 2016. Following that maturation, this whisky was bottled at cask strength by Hunter Laing for their First Editions range. 232 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Extra thick double cream, black pepper, clove and currant buns.
Palate
Strawberries, creamy vanilla, malt and robust cocoa notes.
Finish
Red berries and treacle, with a light hint of burnt oak hiding in the background.
