Tomatin Five Virtues - Earth
The third release in Tomatin's Five Virtues range (following on from Wood and Fire) is the Earth expression. For this single malt, they've used peated barley - Tomatin only distil peated barley for two weeks every year, and it's only released under the Cù Bòcan name. Following distillation, Earth is matured in refill hogsheads before bottling at 46% ABV. 6,000 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Almond croissant, toasted vanilla pod and a hint of heather honey.
Palate
Layers smoke and malt, followed by a kick of blackberry sweetness.
Finish
Roasted coffee beans, salted chocolate.
