Tomatin 25 Year Old 1995 (cask 13909) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)

A single cask Tomatin that's seen a quarter of a century of ageing! Distilled in February 1995, the Speysider spent its 25 years maturing in a single bourbon barrel, before it was bottled by Douglas Laing for the Old Particular range in March 2020. Just 267 bottles were released at cask strength, a healthy 55.2% ABV, boasting orchard fruit and vanilla notes.

    Tasting Note by The Producer

    Nose

An abundance of pear, vanilla pods, green apple and walnut.

    Palate

Creamy, with sweet summer Speyside barley, butterscotch and new wood.

    Finish

Medium-long with a bourbon, toffee ice cream and crème brûlée quality.
