Strathdearn (Tomatin) 10 Year Old 2014 - Glaschu Spirits Co.
Strathdearn is the name used here for single malt distilled at Tomatin. This 10-year-old Highland whisky spent nine years in a refill bourbon barrel before a 12-month finish in a first-fill Madeira wine cask. The finish has added apricot, caramel, spice, and custard notes to Tomatin’s light, vanilla-rich spirit. Glaschu Spirits Co. bottled the whisky at 50% ABV without chill filtration or added colour, with 324 bottles released.

Nose
Amaretto, cinnamon, dried apricot, green apple, and vanilla.
Palate
Apricot, orchard fruit, caramel popcorn, pastel de nata, and oaky spice.
Finish
Dried fruit, caramel, vanilla, and warming oak.
