Single malt from the Tomatin distillery, aged for 17 years and bottled for the Darkness! range - so you can expect some wonderful sherried tastiness here! It was finished in a little, specially-coopered Palo Cortado sherry cask, which is always very interesting as Palo Cortado is a rather rare type of sherry. A release of only 98 bottles.
Peaches in syrup, gingerbread, cinnamon and lemon peels. A touch of sea salt drifts in.
Melted chocolate, ground almond, rye bread spices and some redcurrant sweetness.
Heavy vanilla, brown sugar, savoury oak and more citrus freshness.
