Douglas Laing
Scotland
Single Malt
Distilled at Tobermory in 2008, this single malt spent the next 15 years maturing in a single bourbon barrel. The cask was cracked open by Douglas Laing in 2024, releasing a total of 243 bottles for the Old Particular collection, without added colour or chill filtration.
Buttery notes of oaken vanilla, sugar-dusted fruit salad, and gentle woody spice.
Malted biscuits, burnt brown sugar, and sweet notes of cinnamon snaps, with a touch of apricot and oak char in tow.
Caramel and fruit-loaded pastries linger, with stewed pear, vanilla, and delicate warmth.
