Ledaig 8 Year Old 2008 (cask 11327) - Provenance (Douglas Laing)

8 year old Ledaig single malt Scotch whisky from the Tobermory distillery, bottled by Douglas Laing. This was distilled back in February 2008 and matured in a refill hogshead until August 2016, when it joined the Provenance range with an outturn of 459 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose

Bonfires on the seashore, joined by sweet popcorn and peach.

Palate

The theme of 'robust smoke balanced by juicy fruit' continues, though the vegetal peat stays up-front.

Finish

Herbaceous smoke notes last long on the finish.
