Single Malt
7 year old peated Tobermory single malt (known as Ledaig) drawn from a pair of hogshead casks which were filled in April 2009 and emptied in September 2016. It was independently bottled by Signatory for there Un-Chillfiltered Collection, so nary a thought was given to chill-filtered this tasty rascal.
Bananas covered in toffee and crushed walnuts. Smoky peat develops, with some cracked black pepper spiciness.
Vanilla-y at first, but once again the smoke builds and builds.
Drying notes of dark chocolate and earthy smoke.
