Ledaig 17 Year Old 2002 (cask 13133) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)

Ledaig 17yo #13133 Bottling Note

Single cask single malt from the Tobermory Distillery, released under the Ledaig name - so expect some smoky stuff here! This one was distilled in February 2002 and left to age in a refill hogshead for 17 years, before being bottled up by Douglas Laing in April 2019. 407 bottles were released for the very popular Old Particular series.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Seaweed and brown sugar, with a hint of ready salted crisps.

Palate Oaky smoke and toasty spices, orange boiled sweeties, more crunchy brown sugar and a very light hint of iodine.

Finish Earthy and rich, with a hint of old leather behind the smoke and malt.
