Sherry

A peaty treat from Tobermory, bottled by Signatory! You're looking at a 12 year old Ledaig single malt from the Isle of Mull, distilled back in June 2007 and left to age in a single refill sherry butt. In June 2020, just a few days before its 13th birthday, this whisky was bottled up as part of the Cask Strength Collection, with an outturn of 614 bottles. Always excellent to see sherry and peat get along so well.
Beach barbecues and fragrant smoke, with soft coffee notes coming through underneath.
Sweeter on the palate with hot chocolate and stewed berries, but the oaky smoke persists.
Banana fritters and just a hint of burnt toast with Nutella.
