The Highland blended malt spent several months finishing in sweet Port casks, so it's anything but timid, even presented in a wine-shaped bottle with a red wax top. Really impressed with this super whisky. Blended malts are new to me but should not be overlooked based on the quality of this Douglas Laing offering. Impressed by the depth of complexity and flavour and overall quality.
Can’t speak positively enough about this Malt. It’s got depth, complexity and a rich, moreish quality. I’ve found myself on bottle # 3!
