Timorous Beastie 20yo

A limited edition release of Douglas Laing's Timorous Beastie blended malt Scotch whisky, made exclusively with Highland whiskies aged for at least 20 years. The name is a reference to a Robert Burns poem, but that's just a name — this ain't a timorous whisky at all! A release of 297 bottles, with a fancy box to house the bottle, too.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose Brown sugar, toasted oak, richly malty, with a touch of black tea in the background.

Palate Warming spices build on the palate, with cinnamon and anise in the mix, plus a fair whack of vanilla tablet.

Finish Clean oak on the finish, with a fleeting hint of milky coffee.
