The source of Finlaggan has remained a very closely guarded secret. To tell the true origin of Old Reserve you'll simply have to taste it and find out!
Slightly medicinal nose with hints of peanut, sticking plasters, manuka honey and digestive biscuits.
Sweet cereals, barley malt, a little peat smoke, TCP, nutmeg and ginger.
A long, sweet finish with toasty oak and peppermint.

Absolutely horrendous - agree with the medicinal/ TCP taste - never again
I agree with those that say there's not much but smoky peat here. The malt sweetness fades quickly. I get a little bit of cinnamon spice in the aftertaste, but mostly smoke. One reviewer said this is a poor man's Lagavulin. I don't get that at all. Lagavulin has layers of flavor - malt, earthy peat, smoke, oak, salt... Finlaggan doesn't.
Rich Smokey and completed taste and after taste. I don’t understand the other descriptions.
Smokey yet light. Easy on the palette and the pocket. A good 'sipper'. Slightly thin on the finish but for the price a real bargain.
Fantastische whisky! Ik ben fan! Zeker voor dit geld! Voor nog wat meer body, neem de 46%
