The creation of master blender Alex Thomas, The Sexton Single Malt Irish whiskey is made from 100% Irish malted barley, triple distilled in copper pot stills. After, the liquid is aged in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks imparting a rich and fruity character. It comes in a rather eye-catching hexagonal bottle, too.
Rich aromas of nuts, marzipan and dark chocolate with a pinch of spice.
Dried fruit followed by honeycomb sweetness, apricots, lemon zest, prunes and oak spice.
Woody on the finish, with honeyed sweetness coming through.

Don’t know much about whiskey but I know what I like. Very smooth and tasty compared to others I’ve tried. The only problem I have is trying not to spill any of it. Beautiful bottle but a little clumsy to pour
worst irish whikey i have ever tasted tastes like scotch whisky not the usual smooth honey flavour of irish rather rough as well
Creamy and highly satisfying. Would definitely buy again
Was bought this as a gift last year. It's been a solid go to for neat or Irish coffee if you fancy not using Jameson's. Good apricot and smooth flavours. Really nice.
Reading some of the 1 star reviews, I can only surmise that to be either a different product or a bad batch of some sort…..there are too many good reviews to support the same experience I have had….I bought it on a whim…Single Malt, a nice bottle/presentation, and attractive price = worth a try…I appreciate all whiskeys, from Scotch to Bourbon….for Irish Whiskey, I typically drink Red Breast 12, 15, or Lustau….this is no Red Breast…nor did I expect it to be…but I found it very drinkable, and enjoyed it just fine…Would I buy it again? Sure I would…a good value whiskey
