The Quiet Man Blend Bottling Note

A blended Irish whiskey from The Quiet Man range (not named after the John Wayne film, but rather after the father of the brand owner - he was a bartender who heard many stories during his time behind the bar but told no tales). Before bottling, the whiskey is finished in first-fill bourbon barrels.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Icing sugar, fresh tropical fruit, green banana and honey.

Palate: Creamy vanilla, toasted cereals, more honey, marmalade.

Finish: Faint spiciness of cinnamon and peppery oak.

Pleasantly surprised. Excellent value, and good taste.

Excellent overall. Easy to drink.

Easy blend, easily drinkable

Just take it for what it is. An easy blended whiskey, cheap, but without any single off-note. Not a whisky to talk to friends about, but a great dram to drink while you're chatting with them. A Jameson with something more.
