The third darkest bottling in the no-age-statement, sherry matured 1824 Series from The Macallan. Sienna is a naturally occurring pigment, referring not only to the hue of this expression but to the fact that The Macallan's whiskies are all released with no added colouring.
This bottle was part of a private collection - if you'd like more detailed photos just get in touch!
Noticeably bigger than Gold and Amber, orange peel, vanilla sugar and hot cross buns.
Raisins and dried apricots, ripe greengages, frozen currants.
Fruity and slightly spiced with a touch of anise.
This is where the 1824 Series becomes more intense.

Very smooth, full bodied without being to complex. Love the feeling on my tongue when i first sip it.
awesome taste with the familiar Mac profile....delicious and aside from the Fine Oak 17 and regular 18 this is my new fave!
Of all the four new no age Macallans this is the best value for the money one. Still missing the character and unique flavor of the old 18 year old, its better than the 12 year sherry at equal or lower Price. The only 1824 I would recommend.
to Sell whiskey based on the color is highly misleading, they could put anything in the bottle which is why they do it, everything you need to know should be unbelievable most important of which is the age
This is a fantastic whisky and worth the price tag. I tried Gold earlier in the year and it wasn't good, but Sienna has brought me back to The Macallan. I will be buying more of this in future.
