To celebrate 75 years of fiercely independent whisky-making, Douglas Laing created the XOP Diamond Collection – six single cask treasures from its deepest vaults. This 35-year-old Macallan is one of the crown jewels.
Presented in an embellished diamond-shaped gift box, the 700ml bottle features metal labels and a hand-signed certificate by Fred and Cara Laing. Inside the box, you’ll also find a mouth-blown crystal decanter and matching whisky glass, designed with British designer Richard Brendon for a genuinely exquisite pour.
Matured in a single refill butt and bottled at 44.4% ABV, this Speyside dram was selected for its exceptional richness and refinement.
Please note: this bottle is stored under lock and key, protected by chains and lasers, so we'll need a few extra days to crack it out of our vault and ship to you.
Rich sherry aromas rise first – soaked sultanas, dark chocolate and worn leather. The palate is smooth and elegant, unfolding notes of toasted almond, fruitcake and spiced plum. A touch of old oak and clove lingers on the luxurious finish.
