The Irishman Single Malt Irish Whiskey comes, surprisingly, from Ireland. It's a triple distilled expression which is aged in both sherry and bourbon casks for over 10 years before bottling.
Light and fruity on the nose. A little hint of liquorice pops up, as does crumbly vanilla fudge.
A classic pudding of peaches and cream with a sprinkling of crushed up biscuits and almonds.
Fairly long, with oak cropping up near the end.
Superb! A cracking Irish whiskey.

I discovered this whiskey several years ago and fell in love from the off. Have reluctantly shared it with hardened whisky drinkers who also liked it (high praise from scotch drinkers).

I'm a convert. It was very smooth.
It is amazing stuff. I've tried it out on a number of seasoned whiskey drinkers and they love it. I don't drink whiskey but even I can appreciate this one.
