This Australian rye whisky joins the Return to Oz series from That Boutique-y Whisky Company. Distilled at Melbourne-based The Gospel, which specialises in rye whisky. The mash bill here is composed of 51% Australian unmalted rye from a single farm in south Australia, and 49% malted barley. Initially matured in a new American oak cask, this limited edition single cask enjoyed a red wine cask finish for a fruity dimension. Bottled at a punchy 58.6%, it features the story of The Gospel distillery, along with a deadly Australian animal, on the label. Can you spot it?
