The Glenlivet
Scotland
Single Malt
Glenlivet's Nàdurra range showcases whisky in all its natural glory by presenting it at cask strength, without any chill-filtration or additional colours. Their First Fill Selection series also showcases the glory of first fill American white oak casks. Plenty to love about these releases.

Flaky pastry and fresh orange, joined by a touch of eastern spice.
Juicy green apple and ripe pear, alongside toasted teacake with salted butter. Clove and cinnamon give it a festive feel...
Pine resin, sponge cake and Seville orange marmalade.
Cantie an couthie, braw fur the drouthie, subtle an fine, better than wine.
tastes like nail varnish remover with a hint of burning rubber...the most disgusting cask strength whisky i ever tried and i am a big whisky drinker...very disappointing and i poured it down the sink...why did they do this?
Expanding to more cask strength options, and glad I grabbed this one. Does not disappoint. Gotta love how that American Oak comes through on its own, but I’m partial. Green apple noted above is spot on.
I like abunadh just a bit more, but that is it. JDSB is my EDD, I prefer woody stuff, yet there is something here. I am gonna go right into it. True as a MF. Color is just barely more than pure water color. But that is just honesty. I dig it. A lot. They should bane fake sugars. Nose is is sweet, taste relatively smooth, It is 61.8% remember, gonna be honest as in all my reviews, I am at 5% left bottle, it was divine, gone in a aprx. 1 month, a stacker. Yup. Even as gift to experienced bourbon drinker, this will work. 85-90 all day long.
This is a proper bourbon oak. Quite simply a great whisky, and great value for money. A go to whisky.
