33 year old Glenlivet single malt, matured in a single refill Sherry hogshead. Yep. Sounds pretty bloomin' stunning, doesn't it? It was distilled by Glenlivet in August 1981 and bottled in April 2015. This has been presented as part of Signatory's Cask Strength Collection, with just 156 bottles produced.
Fantastic whisky, I was lucky enough to get a bottle for my birthday. Everything that's good about a Glenlivet but amplified with an amazing nose and long flavorful finish. Faultless.
