This was distilled at the Glenlivet distillery on the 5th November 1981 before a 30 year maturation in a single cask (sherry hogshead number 9457). It was bottled for Signatory's Cask Strength Collection in February 2012.
Sweet overripe grapes and leather. Notes of port wine, sherry and allspice. Cigar leaves and Corinth raisins.
Prunes and brandy butter. Hints of cocoa, black pepper and blackberry jam. Hints of mixed herbs.
Ginger and sherry. Spicy.
