Behold the glory of Glenlivet in this superb single malt, distilled in August 2006 and matured for 15 years in a single first-fill sherry butt. In January 2022, a total of 616 bottles were drawn from the cask by indie bottler Signatory, released for the Cask Strength Collection at a hearty 63.7% ABV.
Heaps of sherried fruit and boozy Christmas cake, sweet prunes, and figs are followed by woody spice and vanilla.
Apple crumble, sweet spices, and soaked sultanas with rich, warming ginger and hints of earthy mocha.
More roasted coffee alongside floral barley and spicy oak. Dried fruits linger with a bold prickle of pepper to finish.
