The Claymore
Blended
The term "claymore" is from the Scottish Gaelic for "great sword", and it's an ancient style of Scottish sword used by the Highlanders. This wonderful blended whisky was created in its honour.

Love this whisky. Very easy to drink and lovely on the palate.
...by which I mean that you find not at the bar but in a hospital. With both the nose and the palate there's this overwhelming alcoholic smell and taste (like vodka but less clean) that effectively dispels whatever whisky-ish after the first few seconds. I wonder what they've blended this from.
awsm wiskey, i had tasted for many years really love it ....
Whelst, I kinda like whisky, and whiskey, but Claymore is smoothe, clean, and uninhibited. It delivers. But, I am a blended fan. I kinda take to Islay malt, but hey, a dram or two, sways the heart and soul. Claymore, I could sell to Scotsmen. A story. Whenst visiting Edinburgh, I asked in a bar? Have you a pool table? The reply. "We don't play pool here laddie, We drink" Arhhh. The Scot. Bless.
Just got this as an early fathers day gift..I dont usualy drink whiskey because it strangly makes my shoulders hurt and feel abit odd..But this stuff must be really well made and clean because i felt great and the next morning felt fine too. Will definatly buy again.Going to polish the rest off tonite,Cheers
