Teeling Small Batch Miniature in Jar
A snazzy gift from the Teeling folks in Dublin - this is a 50ml miniature of their excellent Small Batch Irish whiskey, initially aged in ex-Bourbon barrels and finished in casks that had previously held Central American rum, presented in a handsome jar. There's literally whiskey in the jar.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Cut grass and orange blossom. Allspice, hints of vanilla, apple pie and blackberries.
Palate
Spiced, rich palate with rose petal jelly and lemon curd. Creamy vanilla, hints of dried herbs and cinnamon.
Finish
Floral, herbal finish. Caramel on the tail.
Overall
A deliciously creamy, spicy and rich Irish blend.
