This is an independently bottled Teaninich single malt Scotch whisky, which was distilled in 2008 and set aside to age in a single refill butt. 9 years later, in 2017, Langside came along and bottled this whisky for their Hepburn's Choice range - 420 bottles were produced.
With a little winter spice comes apple brandy, well-charred oak and a touch of walnut.
Among toffee apples and dried pear there's fresh bread, vanilla custard, toasted barley and some spiced oak.
Hints of dried flower petals, digestive biscuits and lingering apple sweetness.
