Teaninich 12yo '09 Bottling Note

Distilled at Teaninich in 2009, this single malt spent the next dozen years resting in a pair of hogsheads. Finally, in April 2022, the folks at Signatory had a little peek inside, and decided it looked good and ready for bottling, so they did just that! Bottled without any added colour or chill-filtration, this expression joins Signatory's Un-Chillfiltered Collection.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Zesty peels and lemon curd with ginger biscuits, and subtle garden herbs.

Palate: Fresh apples and pears, floral notes of orchard blossom balance vegetal malt, with nutty flapjack beneath.

Finish: Quite grassy with more lemon zest coming through, alongside sweet wafer and a drizzle of honey.
