Winner of 10 awardsThis Aussie whisky comes from the island state of Tasmania. When they are not being harassed by the Tasmanian devils they produce some of the best whisky being made south of the Equator at this moment. The whisky in this bottle was finished in French Oak Port Casks for a fruity flavour.

Onto my last bottle. So much flavour and finesse. I will miss you, sweet lady.
You’ve got to hand it to those Tassies. This is simply sensational.
Sullivan’s Cove is a great whisky fit for a king. So smooth on the pallet not to be confused with woody on the nose with a fine double meniscus and all that tripe. Purchased two bottles from the distillery, being French barrel alongside the second standard bottle. Although expensive I have drunk both bottles over a period of time and can still enjoy the experience.
Incredible stuff
Paid AU$400 in 2016 and was putting away for a keepsake when one day I thought - 'What the heck, I could be dead tomorrow'! Anyway, I'm here to report that it is being consumed and I am very grateful for the experience. (Neat): A very potent rich aroma but not stinging, soft and gentle on the palate with malt biscuit, chocolate and spice standing out. Finish is long and drying. Worth the money? Horses for courses!
