This exceptional single malt comes to you all the way from Tasmania, double distilled by the wonderful Sullivans Cove! As you may have guessed from the name, it's aged in a single American oak cask which previously held bourbon. After 17 years have passed, the whisky is hand-bottled and labelled at the distillery, presented in an oak presentation box with a letter of authenticity signed by head distiller Patrick Maguire and production manager Heather Tillott. Very special stuff from those folks over in Australia.

Price is just ridiculous now. It’s a lovely whiskey but not worth this price. Was only a few years ago this and the french oak was affordable but this price is not worth this at all. From £130.00 to the neck end of a £1000 in a few years is just bordering on the obscene - way way to much.
