Tamdhu 8 Year Old 2012 (cask 14665) - Provenance (Douglas Laing)
An eight year old single malt from the Tamdhu Distillery, which was matured in a refill butt cask from March 2012 to February 2021. Yet another tasty release from Douglas Laing's Provenance indie bottling range, with 710 bottles produced.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Pecan pie, toffee, a generous dusting of cinnamon and nutmeg.
Palate
More cinnamon and nutmeg, now with candied ginger. Bold barley notes sit at the core.
Finish
Daim Bars, a touch of drying cedar.
