A single cask independent bottling of Tamdhu single malt Scotch whisky. This one is an 11 year old whisky aged in a hogshead cask from August 2007 to September 2018, which was bottled by Douglas Laing for the Provenance range.
Blueberry, sugary cereal and vanilla bean emerge initially among jam tarts and some peppery oak.
Flamed orange peel, sultanas and white chocolate lead. A touch of caramel, golden barley and stem ginger add depth.
A prickle of spice is balanced by plenty of brown sugar.
