A vintage 1996 Strathmill, bottled by the folks over at Signatory for the Cask Strength Collection. The Speyside single malt was matured in a single hogshead for 22 years before being bottled in February 2019, with an outturn off 239 bottles at 57.6% ABV. A classic Speysider, full of sweet and creamy notes.
Apple tart, vanilla pod and butterscotch.
Buttery pear crumble will a good helping of vanilla custard, fresh, crunchy apple and a gentle malty note.
Baking spices, gingersnap biscuits and fresh cookies.
