Single Malt
Scotland
13 Sept 2007
25 Apr 2018
This 10 year old single malt was distilled at Strathmill in September 2007, and then whacked into a pair of hogsheads for the following decade. After sufficient ageing, in April 2018 the pair of casks were cracked open and the liquid was bottled at 43% ABV by Signatory. A truly classic Speysider here.
Fresh toast, loads of butter and floral honey, fresh hay and oak spice waft from the glass.
Pancakes straight out the pan with a hefty drizzle of maple syrup, green grassy notes and apricot jam.
Rich, flaky baklava pastry, with more grassy notes and fresh mint leaves.
