Strathclyde 30yo #12375

Single cask Strathclyde single grain, independently bottled by Douglas Laing for the Xtra Old Particular range. This one was matured for 30 years in a refill barrel, from September 1987 to March 2018, before being bottled with an outturn of only 222 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Producer

The nose is distinctly and sweetly piquant, running to pistachio and vanilla ice cream. The palate is mouthcoatingly fructiferous, spiced and lively with that same vanilla base, and the finish shows an early orange suggestion, amongst the fudge and spices.
