Strathclyde 25 Year Old 1990 (cask 11087) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
A single cask single grain Scotch whisky from the Strathclyde distillery, bottled by Douglas Laing as part of their Old Particular range. This was distilled in August 1990 and allowed to mature in a refill barrel for 25 years, until February 2016. A release of 119 bottles.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Inviting vanilla cream, candied ginger, banana and a little whisper of coffee.
Palate
Light oak, white chocolate, passion fruit and orange.
Finish
Lingering citrus.
